"The Anxious Mother" Antique Victorian Print, Little Girl w/ Ducklings & Rooster / Chicken
This is a precious antique Victorian print titled, "The Anxious Mother". The picture depicts a sweet little girl sitting on the bank of a stream with a large chicken/rooster and several sweet ducklings. The colors are bright and vibrant. The print is in excellent original condition. Bottom right hand corner reads, "Copyrighted by Shaw & Co., 1860". The wood frame is decorated with oak leaves and acorns. The 4 corners have carved leaves. One leaf has a small piece missing. (top right) see photo. Gold inner frame shows age appropriate wear. The frame has nice details and a good, old patina. The frame is original to the piece and has a nice, old wood back and wire hanger. Old, original wavy glass.

Antique Victorian Print of Little Girl with Kittens "Family Cares"
This is a precious antique Victorian print uniquely framed with the title, "Family Cares" at the bottom of piece. This little girl has the most adorable expression on her face as she holds two kittens in her apron with the mother cat rubbing against her. This wonderful Victorian picture has what appears to be a matting, but is really all part of the print, uniquely intertwined. There is a bluebird perched in a dogwood tree. In the left hand lower corner it reads, "Chicago Tribune Art Supplement, April 1, 1894". In the right hand corner reads, "Knapp Co. Lith." This is a very captivating Victorian print. This original and decoratively carved wood frame has a white wash finish with gold highlights. Very slight age-appropriate wear. This very special print has its old original glass, wood back, and wire hanger. This print is in excellent original condition except for a very tiny rip in the lower bottom right corner. This is a really charming piece of antique Victorian art.

Little Farm Boy & His Dog Antique Print
This is a sweet antique print of a little farm boy and his dog sitting on the bank of a stream. Bright, vibrant colors throughout. There’s a publisher’s stamp in the lower left hand corner of print that reads, "G.P. 1226, Made in U.S.A.". Original, decorative, wood carved frame. The backing has been written upon by a gift giver and dated 1932. Old wire hanger and old glass. This piece is in excellent original condition.

This is a very unusual print featuring a girl and boy with animals and a unique array of flowers at their feet. I believe there are 3 cats, 2 birds, and 1 dog. The amusing and playful expressions add a fun appeal to this piece. The bright colors and detail to the clothing and flowers impart a whimsical feeling. Bottom right hand corner of picture is signed by the artist, "Miriam". The original wood frame is painted yellow and has a textured effect. Original glass and old wire hanger. Rare Antique Victorian Print, Little Girls with Bunnies in Special Glittery Matting
This is a very special and rare antique print that captures the essence of Victorian embellishment. This is one of the most elaborate, intriguing, Victorian pictures we have seen. The print depicts three little girls dressed in Victorian attire, holding bunnies and flowers in a meadow. There are lovely details throughout the print. The children have captivating expressions and the scene is peaceful and pleasing. The bottom right hand corner of print reads, "Copyright 1890 By W. Hagelberg" (Wolff Hagelberg). The textured matting is very special and fanciful. It is fully embossed in a light blue color with flowers that glitter. The left lower portion of the matting has a large horseshoe that is hand-painted and glittered. Layered over that, are hand-painted daisies that are also glittered. In addition to that, it’s balanced out with daisies in the top right corner. This piece is original to the frame. It is a wood frame in original cream-colored paint and decorative gesso applied in the corners. The glass is original. This piece has a nice original wood backing, cut nails, and original wire hanger. This wonderful picture, frame, and matting are all in excellent original condition. Circa 1890.

Wolff Hagelberg was one of Europe’s leading and largest Fine Art Publishers of Berlin, Germany. He printed some of the most beautiful greeting cards, books, and prints from the mid 1800’s possibly into the early 1900’s. He was most noted for his intricate work in die-cut cards. Hagelberg’s greeting cards often included poetry by E.E. Griffon or M.S. Haycraft.
"The company's array of novelty effects used, including the die-cut HTL process (on which the company held the patent), pull-tab transformations and other mechanical effects, squeakers, printing on silk and on silver, multi-color airbrushing on deep embossing, real hair and other attachments, fancy and fanciful frame designs, etc.
S. Hildesheimer invited him to share judging their 1881 prize competition: ‘We were fortunately enabled to obtain the valuable services of W. Hagelberg of Berlin, a gentleman of great experience, and occupying a foremost position amongst Fine Art Printers to assist in the selection of the designs, thereby securing not only the highest artistic but the best practical judgment for this important trust’."

Antique Victorian Lithograph / Print, “Asking a Blessing”, Girl Praying w/ Dog & Kittens
This is a precious antique Victorian lithograph. It features a sweet little girl with her dog and kitties, "Asking A Blessing", before they eat their meal. The picture has lots of special details and is large and colorful. The outer edge of the lithograph is a fancy gold border that adds another dimension to the piece. At the lower center of print is the title, "Asking A Blessing". In the lower left corner are the numbers "4023". In the lower right hand corner it reads, "Copyright 1905 By James Lee, Chicago, Ill". The picture is in excellent original condition. It is in a very nice, complimentary oak frame with fancy gesso and decorative gold inset. The frame retains a great old original finish and is in excellent condition, except for a very tiny piece of molding of the inset is missing on the top right. This large and captivating picture has original glass, original wood backing, and old wire hanger.
