This is a captivating scene of a woman picking flowers in a lovely meadow. Copyright in the bottom right corner. Lovely colors and beautiful scenery. Nice details. Excellent original condition. Original dark wood frame with black outer and inner moldings. The frame has some age cracks on the flat surface of the frame. Original glass and old wire hanger. Circa 1900.

Pair of Antique French Cityscape / Architectural Signed Prints / Paris - Le Parthenon & Rouen - Rue Damiette / Artist: Barday
This is a pair of French antique prints both signed by the famous French postcard artist, known as "Barday" and titled. The titles are hand-written on each matting. Both of the prints are in excellent original condition. These are two famous, French, architectural cityscape scenes titled, "Paris - Le Parthenon" & "Rouen - Rue Damiette". The bottom matting of the 'Rouen' print has a few very small spots. The matting of the 'Paris' print is in excellent condition. The original frames are textured molded wood with fancy gold insets. The frames are in excellent original condition. Old glass, backing, and wire hanger. Circa 1920's.
*** Below, I have included some interesting information about this ‘mystery’ artist:
Barday was a prolific painter during WWII. Most of his scenes are French. But very little is known about the artist. There are many legends attached to the artist known as Barday. In fact, one story claims he did not exist at all and that more than one person painted under this signature. Barday is most widely known as the "Postcard Artist". Color post cards were rare at that time and Barday made his living by hand painting the small lithographic scenes which tourists and servicemen bought to take home as souvenirs.

Large Western Mountain Nature Landscape Antique Print
This is a large and captivating antique print of majestic mountain scenery. Lots of stunning details. Nature at its best! The print is in excellent original condition. There are a couple tiny dots on the underside of the glass, above the mountain, at the top of print. The original wood frame is very complimentary. It has original applied gesso and faux burl wood finish. The frame is very decorative, and it is also in excellent original condition, with a wonderful original finish. Rare 1975 XLong Panoramic Print of Amsterdam, Holland, Filled w/ Elaborate Cityscape / Architectural Scenes / Artist: Volders
This is a very interesting, extra long print of a panoramic view of Amsterdam, Holland in 1975. There are wonderful, fine details throughout. This rare print of Amsterdam is filled with elaborate and delightful scenes. Fascinating and captivating describe this unusual print. There is so much activity going on in this picture. There are nuns walking a school of children...a couple happily hugging and kissing...hitchhikers walking...a hobo begging for money, as a man drops a coin in his hat, people selling from a hot dog stand...people waiting for the bus...some admiring the river scene...a tourist taking pictures...a man carrying his fishing poles and bait box...other confused tourists looking at a long map as though they're lost...those waiting for the train...those riding bicycles...two men fishing, others dining across the river, a man reading the paper, families holding hands, a man riding a horse, hikers hiking large backpacks...and many waiting to get on the sightseeing boat from the dock. Each person in this picture is seen doing something different. How interesting! This awesome print would make a wonderful conversation piece! The print is signed by the artist in the lower right corner, "Volders". The artist paid meticulous attention to capturing the allure, appeal, and energy of this great legendary city. Circa 1975. There is also an emblem with words in the top right corner with two lions and a crown. - (see photo) There are other words written on signs throughout the background of this piece such as..."Rondvaart", "Bergmann", "KLM", "Mercurius", "Kassa", "Play In", "Snack Corner", "Haring Lekker En Gezond", "Hot Dogs", "Broodje Haring", Amstel Pils", Hasekamrs Zeer Oude Genever", and "F Van Vettewinkel". The print is in excellent original condition. The original wood frame retains its original black finish and is also in excellent original condition. Original glass, original paper backing with label, and original wire hanger. Circa 1975.

Victorian Print “Watching The Swans” / Artist: Lames A.
This is a wonderful Victorian print of a lovely lady in a beautiful gown holding her bonnet filled with flowers. This is a very appealing scene with nice woodland views and handsome swans. The frame is wood with elaborate delicate flower designs throughout. Original gold paint, wood back, wavy glass, and wire hanger. In the lower right corner it reads, "Copyright 1903 by Lames A…?" (cannot read the rest of name – covered by frame) This piece is in excellent original condition.
