This is a very unusual print featuring a girl and boy with animals and a unique array of flowers at their feet. I believe there are 3 cats, 2 birds, and 1 dog. The amusing and playful expressions add a fun appeal to this piece. The bright colors and detail to the clothing and flowers impart a whimsical feeling. Bottom right hand corner of picture is signed by the artist, "Miriam". The original wood frame is painted yellow and has a textured effect. Original glass and old wire hanger. This piece is in excellent original condition. Frame shows some slight age-appropriate wear. Torn paper backing. |
