| This is a precious antique Victorian print uniquely framed with the title, "Family Cares" at the bottom of piece. This little girl has the most adorable expression on her face as she holds two kittens in her apron with the mother cat rubbing against her. This wonderful Victorian picture has what appears to be a matting, but is really all part of the print, uniquely intertwined. There is a bluebird perched in a dogwood tree. In the left hand lower corner it reads, "Chicago Tribune Art Supplement, April 1, 1894". In the right hand corner reads, "Knapp Co. Lith." This is a very captivating Victorian print. This original and decoratively carved wood frame has a white wash finish with gold highlights. Very slight age-appropriate wear. This very special print has its old original glass, wood back, and wire hanger. This print is in excellent original condition except for a very tiny rip in the lower bottom right corner. This is a really charming piece of antique Victorian art. |
