This is a captivating watercolor on paper. It is a very pleasing and tranquil winter scene with an interesting twist. The artist (tore up) shaved the paper in certain areas of the snow to create a wonderful textured effect. Very nice wintery sky. This watercolor is signed by the artist Ed Havas and dated 1961. It retains the original dark wood frame, paper backing and wire hanger.
