This is a tranquil landscape oil painting on canvas with a fisherman, mountains, and cottages, along a winding stream. Lush greenery and a beautiful sky make this painting very inviting. It is signed by the artist in the lower right corner, "H. Ludden". The painting is in excellent original condition, except for a few specks of sliver paint on the surface of the painting. The original wood frame is decorated in fancy gesso and old gold paint. A few scuffs to the frame. Old wire hanger. This is a lovely late 1800’s landscape oil painting.
