This is a charming late 19th century beach scene oil painting full of activity. There are children and ducks in the foreground with a primitive cottage right near the water’s edge. Interesting details throughout. This precious little antique painting on canvas is signed by the artist, "F. Roop" and dated, "97" (1897). The painting is in excellent original condition.
